The Most Amazing Thing Happened to Me Yesterday
I was at Redline, a Cambridge bar, at 12am-ish looking to get some final drinks before last call. Four of us had been walking through Harvard Square from 11pm onward looking for a social place to get drinks and everything was barren. Six people were in Hong Kong (another bar). We settled at Redline.
So I set my things down, I go to the bar to order a drink. My friend makes his way to the back looking for the restroom. I sit down and he says “I just saw Ben Affleck, he’s sitting in the back.” I gave it about a split-second and called him out on inaugurating April Fool’s Day.
Another friend joined us and he couldn’t have given it more than a split-second and sided with my view. So as we were sipping drinks, we sat and speculated how Ben Affleck was probably getting spanked by Matt Damon in the back of Redline while eating a cheese-steak sandwich.
Eventually, after last-call, we sat and kept persecuting our dear friend (he wears glasses). A gentleman from the back of the bar walked out the entrance and it was indeed Ben Affleck. Bar tender confirmed it, as did the giggling undergrads and the jackasses who liked Gigli.
But the most amazing thing happend to me yesterday, I was walking on Newbury and I saw a E92 BMW M3. I almost fell over.
